Directions
The Museum is located on the campus of The Brook Hill School, a private college preparatory school in Bullard, Texas, at 1051 N. Houston St. (Old Jacksonville Hwy.), about two blocks north of downtown.
From Tyler, travel south from South Loop 323 on the Old Jacksonville Hwy. for 12 miles. The Museum will be on your right just before you enter the town of Bullard. Enter the main entrance of the upper school campus, cross the stone bridge, and turn right. The entrance to the Museum is at the ground level of Founder’s Hall, a three-story structure in front of you.
Parking is free and bus parking is available.
Museum Hours
The American Freedom Museum is open to the public on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., except on major holidays. Allow approximately 90 minutes to complete your visit, as there is much wonderful history to see.
Group tours available by advance appointment on select weekdays. Please call or email for more information or to schedule a tour.

- Pre-booked groups of 10 or more receive a discount.
- One teacher/chaperone is also admitted free for every 10 students. (Call for more information regarding student group tours.)
- The Museum is also available for special events.
- The Museum tour takes about 90 minutes to complete.
